Maria Fernanda de Almeida

Maria Fernanda is a University of Toronto undergraduate student specializing in History & Political Science. She is passionate about learning, public speaking, and volunteering with children. Her research interests are Latin American and East Asian studies, and the issues of gender and political science in International Relations. Her past experiences include supervising and managing Model United Nations’ Conferences, research assisting, community volunteering, event coordinating and representing student academic societies. Ibnat Tasfiha Islam

Ibnat Tasfiha Islam is an undergraduate student at the University of Toronto. She is pursuing a double major in Political Science and Peace, Conflict and Justice. Her research interests include studies of marginalization, political economies, migration, gender, and their functions within the contexts of education and labour. Olivia Sun

Olivia Sun is an undergraduate student at the University of Toronto double-majoring in Philosophy, Ethics Society & Law, and minoring in Contemporary Asian Studies. Her main research interests lie in ethics, legal philosophy, feminist philosophy, and sociology. She has received the Dr. David Chu Research Scholarship and also presented a paper at the International Astronautical Congress 2021. Kristina Savitri Bhaun

Kristina Savitri Bhaun is an undergraduate student at the University of Toronto. She is majoring in English and double minoring in Practical French and History and Philosophy of Science. Her research interests comprise of South Asian literature and its’ history of politics, social-class differences, and feminism within a post-colonial India. Hannah Monger is an undergraduate student at the University of Toronto. She is entering her fourth year of study, double-majoring in English and History, and minoring in Creative Expression and Society. Sacha Samouk

Sacha Samouk is an undergraduate student at the University of Toronto. Sacha is in her final year of study, with an Honours Bachelor of Arts (HBA) degree in Education Studies, Anthropology, and English. As demonstrated through her research endeavours, volunteer engagements, and certifications, Sacha’s pursuits are deeply rooted in exploring critical societal issues, including child study & education, mental health, poverty reduction, and Indigenous rights.
